Holiday Information with Sunshine World

Looking at this picture you would think you are on top of the rockies or alps, but these spectacular views are from the Polish Tartas

How good are the ski areas?

The most important difference between Zakopane, Poland and other ski resorts is that all of Zakopane's ski areas are independently run and owned each with separate ski passes. These areas as of course small compared to the enormous, interlinked ski resorts in the Rockies or the Alps. However when you combine these areas, which is easy to do by visiting a different ski area each day, the amount of runs, lifts and terrain is more than enough to have fun without getting bored and to improve your ability level to expert skier/snowboarder.

Why are the prices such good value?

In general Poland is a cheap country, they are not in the Euro and have a good exchange rate currently £1 is around 5zl(2012) you can buy a loaf of bread for around 40p and a pint of beer in a Pub or Club for around £1.20.

Ski Areas:

As all of the ski areas are independent and privately owned there is always a competitive price on lift passes, equipment and food on the slopes.

Tuition:

Every member of the Sunshine World's Pro Team are qualified mountain instructors. The Pro Team will take care of tuition as well as ensuring that every other part of your holiday runs smoothly.

Accommodation:

Since 2005 we have created great relations and partnerships with over 100 hotels and chalets in Zakopane. By maintaining these relations we can ensure that our high standards are kept whilst keeping the prices low.

At Sunshine World, we did not choose to organise holidays in Zakopane, Poland because of family history or heritage. We chose Poland because of its value for money for people looking for a great Ski or Snowboard holiday.

Is Poland the best value ski destination in the world right now?
